What animals does WildAway help deter?

Which setting should I use for rabbits, cats or foxes?
WildAway has adjustable modes for different animal types. Mode 1 is designed for rabbits, foxes, mice and dogs, while Mode 2 is designed for cats. Choose the appropriate mode and adjust the sensitivity based on your garden and where animals usually enter.
Where should I position WildAway for the best results?
Position WildAway facing the area animals normally approach from, such as garden beds, veggie patches, lawns, pathways or property entry points. Keep the motion sensor unobstructed and positioned at an appropriate height for the animal you're targeting.
How quickly should I expect results?
Results can vary depending on the animal, placement and environment. Some animals may respond quickly, while persistent visitors may take longer to change their behaviour. Correct positioning and settings are important, and repositioning the unit occasionally may also help.
How much area does one WildAway cover?
Each unit has a wide 110° detection area with an effective range of approximately 8–13 metres, depending on the sensitivity setting, positioning and surrounding environment. For larger gardens or multiple entry points, more than one unit may provide better coverage.
Will WildAway affect my own pets?
Because WildAway uses frequencies intended to discourage animals such as cats and dogs, your own pets may also detect or react to the device. Position it away from areas where your pets regularly play, rest or spend time, and select the mode appropriate for your situation.
Does WildAway work during the day and at night?
Yes. The motion sensor automatically activates when movement is detected, allowing WildAway to help protect outdoor areas during both the day and night. Its solar panel recharges the unit during daylight hours.
Is it waterproof and suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. WildAway Solar Defender is made from durable UV-resistant ABS material designed for outdoor garden use in different weather conditions.
